The UK and World Energy Storage Conference will be held on campus at the University of Sheffield, in The Diamond Building, now one of the most iconic buildings in the city

Home to Engineering at Sheffield and completed in 2015, The Diamond Building is one of the University’s largest ever investments in learning and teaching. With 19 different specialist laboratories and workshops, housing state of the art equipment, The Diamond hosts over 6000 students each year. 

The conference will be located on the Ground and Basement floors. Whilst the conference pass includes refreshments and a two course buffet lunch each day, The Diamond Kitchen located in the atrium will also be open.

Accessibility

Located in the heart of the East Campus, The Diamond is easily accessible from city centre hotels, with bus and tram stops located close by if needed. 

The building itself is fully equipped for any access requirements including  lifts, disabled toilets and hearing loops. Prayer & Wash Rooms 

Male and Female Prayer Rooms are located on Level 1 of The Diamond, with Wudu facilities nearby. Please ask staff for more information and guidance.
